The farm resort Borgo della Marmotta stands at the edge of the small village of Poreta, just a few kilometers from Spoleto. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, and its timeless charm has been carefully preserved through a meticulous restoration that brought back its original enchantment.

The architectural features clearly reveal the village’s historic rural function: the small square, the stables, the sheepfold, the olive mill, the granary, and the large open threshing floors that once marked the rhythm of the countryside. Today, these once-abandoned spaces have been thoughtfully transformed into 11 cozy rooms, 7 charming apartments, a restaurant with an authentic Umbrian cuisine, a relaxing wellness area, and a spacious park complete with a swimming pool.
